Baltimore County Employees Federal Credit Union is a non-profit financial cooperative.

Our mission is to improve the lives of our member-owners by providing quality financial products and services while maintaining the growth and stability of the Credit Union.

As a volunteer on the Board of Directors or a Board committee, you can help guide the future of BCEFCU.

You’ll need to attend regularly scheduled meetings and the occasional training session, seminar or workshop to understand the credit union industry and your role as a volunteer.

Standing committees include:

Loan PolicyReviews Loan Policy Manual and recommends changes, conducts a review of loans.
LegislativeMaintains cognizance of State and Federal Legislative Issues relating to credit unions.
Special ProgramsEvaluates programs and recommends new programs to benefit the membership.
BuildingReviews building operations, recommends improvements and/or contracts, reviews building security and safety.
InvestmentManages assets and liabilities, updates the Investment policy, makes recommendations to the Board, and prepares the budget.

2024 Rules for Election to the Board of Directors

Jeff Mayhew, Board Chair of the Baltimore County Employees Federal Credit Union, has appointed a Nominating Committee to review and recommend candidates for the annual election to the Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee consists of Bill Morley-chair, Paul Hudson, Bruce Keller, and Jeff Mayhew.

The Nominating Committee is responsible for the nomination of at least one (1) member of the Credit Union in good standing for each vacancy and will determine that those members nominated are agreeable to the placing of their names in nomination and will accept the office is elected. Interested candidates should apply no later than Friday, October 27, 2023.

Any Credit Union member not nominated by this committee may have his/her name placed on the ballot by completing an application providing the same information required of other nominees and by submitting a petition signed by one percent (1%) of the members in good standing as of October 27, 2023, who are eligible to vote. This petition shall be submitted no later than 40 days prior to the Annual Meeting planned for Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
